Competition Winners!!

In October 2015 Colaiste Abbains TY class entered a competition run by Wexford Mental Health Association. This was called the "Expressions" project and is a new venture focusing on the theme of " Positive mental health is..........."The project aims to promote awareness amongst young people of the importance of positive mental health and the causes and effects of mental illness.

The TY students expressed their views on what they thought positive mental health is through a thought  provoking drama and creative  artwork, dance, production of a calendar and board game. They also coordinated an art competition to promote mental health within the school community. All their hard work paid off when they received first prize and were deemed overall winners of the competition.
