Garda Vetting - For TY, LCVP & PLC students in 2015/16

 image002

Garda Vetting of students is relevant where:

1. Transition Year Programmes & LCVP are held in a Post-Primary School and these students would be going on work experience.

2.Where a PLC College runs side by side with a Post-Primary school.

“Garda Vetting will apply to relevant WWETB courses and programmes.  Where this is necessary, you will be required to complete a Garda Vetting Form giving permission for information to be obtained from the Garda Central Vetting Unit regarding all convictions and/or prosecutions successful or not, pending or completed.”

As a result students enrolling in the academic year 2015/16 in TY and PLC courses will have to apply for Garda Vetting.
