TY First Aid Training

There are certain skills that are essential in life that all students should get the opportunity to learn in school. First Aid training is one of those skills. During the month of April our Transition Year students will be completing a First Aid course. Well done to Ms Breen for coordinating this training.

Jack Barron, Niamh Doyle and Evan Roche have been working tirelessly preparing for the Junior Category of the Student Enterprise Competition. Thank you to Ms Murphy and Ms Breen for the enthusiasm, guidance and support afforded to these students. Judges interviewed the students on Friday 9th March in Coláiste Abbáin. They were most impressed with the standard of work. Well done to all involved.

We are now at day 12 out of 21 in the incubation process.  At this stage the eyes are one of the first things to develop which is why they are so large compared to the rest of the body. Out of 15 eggs 13 of them are fertile. Exciting times ahead.Thank you to Mr O Connor for facilitating this initiative.

Seachtain na gaeilge

Beidh na daltaí ag déanamh a lán rudaí do seachtain na Gaeilge i gColáiste Abbáin; An poc fada, Céilí, Tráth na gCeist, Comórtas Seandfhocail. Beidh an triú bhliain ag dul ar turas scoile an tseachtain seo chugainn agus táimid ag tnúth go mór leis.
