Traffic Management

11 September 2018

Traffic Management

Parents/guardians are asked to note the following points when dropping and collecting students to and from the school:

  • The health and safety of ALL students is of paramount concern and supersedes other aspects of accessibility and convenience in the collection / drop off of students.
  • The rear car park, directly opposite Cullens, is a staff car park only
  • Be mindful that the front school car park is reserved for the use of staff and visitors conducting business with the school. It is not a collection point.
  • Parents are most welcome to use the drop off and collection point but are asked to refrain from parking therein. The bus bay /set down area must be kept clear for the sole use of buses at collection time. It can be used 10 minutes after school finishes.

The school continues to liaise with officials from the Health and Safety Authority in relation to traffic management in the area of the school.

Bonjour á toutes les personnes

All French students in Coláiste experienced a true sense of the French culture last Friday thanks to Ms De Róiste and her love of the French language. Students enjoyed face painting and listening to French music and the First year cohort got an extra special treat when they got to sample cheese, croissants and other french foods last class on Friday afternoon. We love to see our students enjoy unique learning experiences like this in Coláiste Abbáin.

Welcome aboard to our First Year students Coláiste Abbáin 28th August 2018. A very confident, competent group of students. Thak you to our Class Tutors, teachers and Meitheal leaders for all their hard

work facilitating our 'Get Set Go' Induction Programme.

We hope they bring with them many happy memories of their secondary school days in Coláiste Abbáin.
